Simple Minds Studios

The people behind the questions

Different experiences.
Shared curiosity.

Simple Minds Studios brings together creative direction, human-centered technology experience, practical technical knowledge, and a willingness to ask what could be different.

Our work crosses art, architectural visualization, digital media, physical making, and emerging intelligent systems. It begins with people, not a technology looking for a purpose.

Founder & Creative Director

Bart Salazar

Bart spent nearly seven years in AppleCare support operations through Transcom, moving from advisor to leadership responsibilities across technical support, accessibility, and senior-level escalations.

Working with customers and teams taught him how much of technology's usefulness depends on communication: translating complexity, listening across different experiences, and preserving human dignity when a solution is not yet clear.

He brings that perspective to the studio's creative direction, research, storytelling, and experiments with human-centered intelligent systems.

Museum Creator & Technical Collaborator

Brad Devowe

Brad brings long-term practical experience with Microsoft and Windows systems, Android, home networking, IP configuration, cameras, security systems, home automation, and hands-on troubleshooting in people's homes.

His technical studies focused on networking and Microsoft-oriented systems. While he did not complete the program or earn formal certifications, his work reflects applied learning, curiosity, practical judgment, and knowing when to seek additional expertise.

He contributes technical exploration, physical prototyping, fabrication, and a maker's approach to turning ideas into tangible objects.

A shared perspective

A knowledge base can explain a procedure. Reaching the person requires more.

We believe useful technology should be understandable, accessible, and responsive to the circumstances of real people. We are enthusiastic about AI without assuming every question needs automation, every household needs a robot, or every creative act needs a machine.

Our existing studio ethos guides that work: multiple perspectives, honest attribution, human judgment, and the freedom to keep wondering.

Make something with us

Have an idea worth exploring?

We welcome conversations about commissions, artwork, creative collaborations, visualizations, prototyping, and thoughtful experiments with emerging technology. Our experience informs our approach; we don't present ourselves as a certified networking or security engineering firm.
